Late night antics

Having lost her keys (again - but this time apparently for good), she made several calls after midnight last night explaining she had lost her keys, and that she wanted the door left open for her. My other flat mate who received the calls didn't feel comfortable leaving the door unlocked (it wasn't a couple of months ago there was a shooting just down the street) so after 2am she was woken again to open the door for her. Despite being asked not to the slam the door, she slammed the door without thinking (or listening) waking up me in the process.

So todays reason for my flat mate pissing me off;

Loosing her keys and then waking up the household on three separate occasions after midnight.

Unable to close the front door

In recent weeks after having our front door frame replaced and the lock on the door also replaced, the front door now requires a slight amount of force applied to make sure the bolt from the door lock propery enters the hole in the door frame. Despite a series of cases where I have woken up in the morning to find our front door wide open, led me to put a sign on the door as reminder to make sure the door is closed properly. But the door has continued to be left open. In the most recent case, the sign had been removed by my flat mate, and the door was left open all night. To remedy this, I replaced the sign on the door and casually mentioned to all household members that the door must be closed and locked at night. However, while my suggestion was open, and not directed or targetted at anyone even though I knew who was at fault (again) , it led my flatmate to burst into tears claiming that she was under too much stress.

So todays reason for my flat mate pissing me off;

Being in denial about her responsibility for closing and locking the front door properly.

Extreme case of foot odour

Her poor personal hygine combined with her habit of infrequently washing her clothes has led to an extreme case of foot odour. For the past number of days the smell coming from her body has been almost unbearable. But my main concern has been that the smell remains on basically everything she touches in the apartment, for example on the couch, and where she leaves her boots near the front door. And due to the unfortunate fact that the doors to our rooms are next to each other, each time I step out of my room, I'm greeted with an overpowering pungent stink that I've tried unsucessfully to mask with my deoderant.

So today's reason my flatmate pisses me off;

An extreme case of her foot odour has taken over the apartment.

She walked from the shower to her bedroom without drying herself, leaving pools of water in the bathroom and throughout the house.
