Late night antics

Having lost her keys (again - but this time apparently for good), she made several calls after midnight last night explaining she had lost her keys, and that she wanted the door left open for her. My other flat mate who received the calls didn't feel comfortable leaving the door unlocked (it wasn't a couple of months ago there was a shooting just down the street) so after 2am she was woken again to open the door for her. Despite being asked not to the slam the door, she slammed the door without thinking (or listening) waking up me in the process.

So todays reason for my flat mate pissing me off;

Loosing her keys and then waking up the household on three separate occasions after midnight.

When my roommate moved in with me she was unfortunate to have no vehicle. For about ten months or so I drove her around to various places when she would ask. She was very respectful and understood when I couldn't take her places at times. I honestly DIDN'T mind driving her around.

Like I said, about ten months went by. Finally she was lucky enough to buy a vehicle. She was very excited, but I felt let down (we had great conversations while driving to places). But my feelings would soon come to pass...

For about two months she's called me at least three times a night asking for directions. These were places I used to drive her to! One would think they remember how to get to common destinations once they've been driven around for almost a frickin' year!

She once called me at work because she ran out of gas trying to get back to our apartment. As you could imagine, I wasn't particularly pleased about her lack of direction, not to mention rudeness.

I have to tell you what a hilarious blog you have here! I'm thoroughly amused. Having lived with no fewer than 6 roommates and even one husband (now ex-husband), I can sympathize with your plight. I think the worst roommate situation I ever encountered was not even with my own roomie but with a boyfriend's: I spent the night at his house and the next morning I got up to use the bathroom, which shared a wall with one of his (female) roomie's bedrooms. I walk into the bathroom and all I can hear is this horrendous banging on the wall and her moaning LOUDLY while she's being serviced by one of any number of guys that circulated through her life. Do people not have any shame? I wonder sometimes... Anyway, good luck and thanks for the laugh!

my love,

my heart withers like a frostbitten rosebud knowing that you live in such torment. i long for the day when our hearts can finally bridge the gap betwixt our distant continents. we live together in my dreams. we have signed a lease of love that will last much longer than one earth year. we have so much in common as i am a passive aggressive, obsessive neat freak that very openly hates EVERYONE. will you move in with me?

with love and devotion,
-charles

Brilliant! I'm living with a real life troll. I have lived with so many degenerates, pigs, trolls, dragons, sloths, nightowls, witches and boars, I'm starting to feel I am living in a Harry Potter novel. Obviously I'm normal lol. This is what happens when you have to go back to sharing when you have had your own place. You are lulled into a false sense of security which says everyone basically wants the same things - a nice, clean chilled friendly house to come home. Not so.

Arg! My flatmate does that, but then talks REALLY LOUDLY outside my door, usually drunken shite about how much she loves everyone. Drives me mad.
